Forty-six NOVA students displayed their love for mathematics by competing in the seventh annual NOVA Math Competition at the Annandale Campus. Thanks to the generous contributions of volunteers, the competition was a great success. Twenty-three teams comprised of two students each participated in the competition. They solved a number of challenging problems in topics that include geometry, counting, probability, logic and analysis of functions.
Congratulations to Yonwoo Choi and Dongjae Lee who earned first place, Landon Rhodes and Violetta Rostobaya who earned second place, and Lee Harvey and Orion Keifer Hankins who earned third place. For photos and a complete list, please visit http://blogs.nvcc.edu/knong/.
