NOVA Chef Participation to Benefit Relay for Life

On Saturday, February 9, NOVA’s own Chef Mike Herbert will demonstrate how to make chocolate confections including Peanut Butter Cups, Oreo Cookie Truffles, and Cherry Walnut Chocolate Fudge. This presentation is for the 9th annual Chocolate Extravaganza at the John Barton Payne building in Warrenton, Va.

The Chocolate Extravaganza was started by Ed and Carol Hamen in memory of their daughter Jenna, who passed away from cancer. Besides Chef Mike’s presentation, this occasion will feature a silent auction of goods and services donated by local businesses and organizations, chocolate tastings, and activities for children. All proceeds benefit the 4Jenna Relay for Life team and the American Cancer Society.
