The Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Student Success is pleased to announce an addition to its leadership team. Angela Williams, Ph.D. has been appointed as the Director of the Pathway to the Baccalaureate Program at NOVA.
Dr. Williams brings a wealth of experience and knowledge from her work in various roles in higher education for over 15 years. Prior to coming to NOVA, Dr. Williams worked at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and Bowie State University in areas of student retention and student support programs. She is a dedicated professional educator and program administrator in Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Academic Advising. She was instrumental in improving student retention and educational outcomes at her previous institutions. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science from Southern University and A&M College, a Master of Education from Southeastern Louisiana University, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Higher Education Administration from Morgan State University.
The Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Student Success is looking forward to working with Dr. Williams to grow the program and contribute to the mission of the College. Dr. Williams will work in the Pathway office at the Pitney Bowes building near the Annandale Campus.
